Privacy policy

Scope of application

This privacy policy gives users information about the nature, scope and purpose of collection and use of personal data by the supplier responsible

on this website (hereinafter “the offer”).

The legal guidelines for data protection are to be found in the German Federal Data Protection Act and the German Telecommunication Media Act.

Access data/Server log files

The provider (or its web space provider) collects data every time its offer is accessed (in so-called server log files). These access data include:

the name of the website visited, the file accessed, the date and time of the visit, the volume of data transferred, notification of a successful visit, the browser type and version, the operating system of the user, the referring URL (previously visited site), the IP address and the requesting provider.

The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimisation of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to review the log data retrospectively if, on the basis of specific evidence, the legitimate suspicion of unlawful use exists.

Handling personal data

Personal data are information which can help identify an individual, i.e. data which can be traced back to a single person. This includes name, email address or telephone number. Personal data also include preferences, hobbies, memberships or the websites someone has visited.

The supplier only collects, uses and passes on personal data where this is legally permitted, or the user has given consent for the data to be collected.

When contact is made with the supplier (such as by means of the contact form or by email), the information the user provides is saved for purposes of processing the enquiry and also in case there are follow up questions.

Inclusion of services and content from third parties

It may occur that third party content such as YouTube videos, Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are included in this online offer. This always requires that the content provider (hereinafter “third party provider”) knows the IP address of the user. This is because the content cannot be sent to the browser of the individual user without the IP address. This means that the IP address is required to display the content in question. We make every effort to use only the type of content for which the provider only uses the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence over the third party provider if they store the IP address for statistical purposes, for example. If we become aware of this, we shall notify the user.
